A two-sport star, Bross was the starting center for the school's legendary basketball team. He helped the St. John’s Hoopsters to a Big East championship and a Final Four appearance. Biography  Jerome Cardell "Jerry" White (born August 23, 1952 in Shirley, Massachusetts) is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) player and former first base coach of the Minnesota Twins.
