Biography Edward Lee Miller (born June 29, 1957) is a former outfielder in Major League Baseball who played for the Texas Rangers, Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers, Philadelphia Phillies and San Diego Padres in parts of seven seasons spanning 1977–1984. Listed at 5' 9", 175 lb., Miller was a switch hitter and threw right-handed. He was born in San Pablo, California.
